Force eject contacts from playbooks / journeys

We need the ability to force eject contacts from playbooks or journeys. If contacts get stuck currently or there is a duplicate for whatever reason, the only way to get them out is super hacky as you need to adjust the exit criteria for the ENTIRE journey for just one contact. Not ideal.

Manually remove people from a journey

I'd like a way to manually remove people from a journey. This would be particularly useful when they are stuck in a 'wait' shape

I am pleased to announce, we have released the ability to manually eject people from a journey!
To use this option, under the
...
menu of the journey, select "Manually eject people".You can then build your filter to identify the people in the journey you want to eject, such as by email address or tag.
Please note:
- If a contact is currently in the journey multiple times, they will be completely removed for all occurrences.
- It may take a minute or 2 for the contacts to be ejected, depending on how many people you are ejecting.

Enable the ability to eject contacts from journeys without meeting the exit criteria,
Especially important when your platform doesn't receive data reliably from other data sources.

Productizing the ability to manually remove contacts from a journey

At the moment to remove a contact from a journey, you have to either have them meet the ejection criteria or create manual ejection criteria such as a tag.
Suggest adding in the option to manually eject someone from a journey under the Campaigns tab on a Contact themselves. There are always those scenarios that come up where a manual ejection option would be helpful!

Hi Josh, we are looking into this, but a simple trick is to add a tag to the exit criteria e.g. "Eject-<JOURNEY NAME>" then just tag the contacts you want to eject.

Thanks Michael Sharkey. Our exit criteria contains "AND" conditions, so would be hard to include it by default as I understand you can't use a mix of "and" / "or" conditions.
Michael Sharkey
Josh Broyda: yes you can, just link the ANDs and in a group and then use OR for the tag
